Jacky wrote her first poem when she was 11 - it was an anti-drugs rap. The irony that she then went on to be a psychotherapist specialising in addiction is not lost on her.

Jacky has an MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling and has presented at the international Conference on Addiction and Associated Disorders on social media addiction. This year she performed her one woman performance poetry show ’Stop the world I want to get off’ at Edinburgh Fringe Festival where she received a 4.5/5 star review. She is also creator and host of The Therapeutic Poet podcast which has just been shortlisted for the International Women’s Podcast Awards 2022.
